Having trouble adding photos to Animotica? Don't worry, we're here to help! Follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Ensure that both Animotica and Windows 10/11 are up to date. Check for the latest updates of Animotica in the Microsoft Store, and follow this link to check for Windows updates.
2. Alright, so far so good! Your next step would be to check that your image files are supported formats such as .png, .bmp, .gif, .jpg, and .jpeg. If your image format is not supported, consider converting or re-saving your file to .PNG. You can use one of our recommended free online tools for this.
3. Keep pushing, pal! Make sure you have a proper Photo Encoder. To check, open one of your image files with the default Windows 10 "Photos" app (Right-click on your file -> ‘Open With’ -> ‘Photos’). If the image file does not open, you probably don't have the right Photo Encoder. You can find more information by searching on Google.
4. If your image files open up and the Photo Encoder supports them, reset the "Photos" app to help fix any issues. Follow this link to learn how.
c. In the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT section, find your file format (e.g. *.jpg) in the list.
e. Input "image/jpeg" as the value and press "OK."
Phew, you did it! If you've completed all of these steps and are still having trouble, please send us your media files for troubleshooting. We strongly recommend uploading files to a cloud storage service like OneDrive, Google Cloud, or Dropbox, and then sharing the link with us.
We hope these steps help you successfully add photos to Animotica. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. Best of luck, and happy editing!
