Animotica is a powerful video editing software that offers a number of useful features to help you organize and manage your video projects. Here are some tips for working with your project library to make the most of Animotica's capabilities:
How to Access Recent Projects
When you first open Animotica, you will see options to continue your latest project or start a new one.
You can also view your last recent projects by closing the start screen. This gives you quick access to works in progress.
How to Manage Recent Projects
To manage a project, click the three-dot icon in the upper right corner of the screen. This menu allows you to:
- Open – Jump back into a project to continue editing.
- Duplicate – Create a copy of a project to experiment with different edits.
- Rename – Change the project title if needed.
- Show the file in the folder – Find the folder location of the .ani project file on your device. This will open the containing folder in Windows Explorer so you can access the file directly.
- Collect files – Collect all associated media like videos, images, and audio into a new folder along with a copy of the .ani file to forward the project in its entirety to another computer or for further troubleshooting. You can learn more about the Collect files feature in this article.
- Remove from Recent – Delete the shortcut from the Recent list. This feature does not affect the project file itself. The file remains saved in the following folder: C:\Users\{PC Name}\Documents\Animotica\Projects. Use this option to clean up your recent projects view.
Keeping your project library tidy will make it easier to find and work on the videos you need!
Happy Editing! ✨
