All we need are in the "Video" tab of settings.
The frame rate for output video
First thing first, you should set the optimal frame rate for your recording. It's not reasonable to use high
FPS, if your input video has lower FPS or your end target doesn't request/need high FPS.
For example, for YouTube, it will be enough to use 30fps.
Tip: How to define your optimal FPS?
Make some recording. Look at the properties of the recorded file and take attention to output FPS.
You will see the possibilities of your video card. Use the received value like an average reference.
For example, make a recording with the value of FPS equal to 60. If the recorded video will have a lower FPS value, set it next time recording to get a nice result.
Video resolution
The higher the resolution, the more resources your device needs to successfully complete the task. In other words, it would be a mistake to expect an excellent result at the maximum settings of the above parameters, if your equipment does not functionally allow this.
In this case, we suggest reducing the output video resolution.
If you use a webcam overlay for your recording try to drop the resolution of it. Go to the app "Settings", select the "Webcam" tab. Find the "Settings" tab there. In the "Video Capture Format" dropdown list select a lower resolution.
Process video mode
Also, you can try to change the process video mode in the appropriate dropdown list. But don’t forget
about other parameters which were described above.
We recommended you spend some time to customize your settings experimentally.
ATTENTION!
Your video memory should be free enough during the recording. Try to stop another process that can use it. Don't record a game and watch a movie at the same time (if you have 2 or more displays). It can worsen the performance of the app and give a bad result after recording.
