How to edit a text style?

I can't seem to master the editing of the attributes of a text style. If I click edit it just changes the colour and background and name.

If I create a new one with the same name, now there are two.

What is the procedure to amend the attributes of a style so it applies to all text elements with the style to the new settings?

  Hi Harv,

  Thank you for contacting us! To see all of the attributes and edit an existing overlay, you need to go to the Overlay section and then click on a preferable text overlay and apply any settings.
